Dear Dale Lancers Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am so excited and humbled to serve as your principal. I have had the great honor of meeting many of you and am looking forward to getting to know you this school year.

Our staff has worked diligently in preparing for the upcoming year. Everyone has committed to providing our students with a curriculum that encompass the 5C’s: Communication, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Creativity and Character/Compassion. Through the district’s Career Preparedness Systems Framework, we prepare our students
by providing learning opportunities that focus on three key components: 21st Century Skills (5C’s), Technical Skills and Voice and Purpose. These key elements will prepare our students to be college, career and life ready.

As you have seen, Dale Junior High School is a state-of-the-art facility. With construction behind us, we can now move forward in knowing that a safe and secure campus will allow us to focus on instruction and preparing our students for the 21st century.

Together, we, as a community will continue to make Dale Junior High School the very best it can be. Again, I am so grateful for the opportunity to be YOUR principal. I encourage you to get involved in our many fine groups like the English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), School Site Council and PTSA. I invite you to attend our monthly Coffee with the Principal meetings, which will give you an opportunity to ask me questions directly, and allow me to get to know you and how we can serve our students better. It’s going to be a wonderful school year. Remember, at Dale Junior High we are a family.
